Colorado Fear Fest
Pros:
~ Very cool hand made props
~ Awesome real animal pelts, skulls, and antlers make you feel as if you're in a real trappers cabin
~ Nicely executed voretx
~ Fun little maze
Cons:
~ lacking fine detail feels dark and blank
~ nothing but jump scares
~ No line actors or fascade
Notes:
Colorado Fear Fest is a new haunt this year has been added to the property at The Haunted Mines that offers great deals for both haunts or just one! It added a great touch but is lacking fine details. The first room really sets the tone here as guests are checked into a hotel complete with a guest book and bell boy who "happily" greets you. Once you begin touring the halls it is immediately made apparent that you may not be welcome here. The Fear Fest carries breathtaking hand made props, real animal pelts, and real antiques throughout it just needs some detailed walls to complete the haunt.
The actors throughout were very good playing out developed character creepily with good makeups, but they were few and far between.
